Hi there,
I've took around 500 photos recently, but all of them have some kind of defect (pixelation) on the top of the images. I shot in RAW and the defect is originally there. Does anyone know why I got the result? I have another photoshoot coming but now I am very nervous. Please take a look at the sample photo here. Thank you. You should avoid double posting. It will cause frustration for you and the people trying to help you as the questions and answers get duplicated.

Hi Jim,
Thank you so much for your help. I read the link, but I am still confused. I shot in RAW (ISO200, f5.6, 1/80s). The image has been brightened just a little bit. This does match to the explanation following. Banding noise is most visible at high ISO speeds and in the shadows, or when an image has been excessively brightened. Do you have any other thought? Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge. |

Sorry for the trouble. I am new to this site. when I got back to the site today my question was not visible. I didn't know what to do other than posting it again. I desperately want to know the answer because I have another photo shoot coming.
Anyway, thanks. I'll try to avoid double posting. |
