I am new to digital photography and this forum ... and I need some advice.
I am in NYC on a vacation and took quite a few pictures with my new Nikon Coolpix s8000 but they are all turning out "hazy". Here's an example... http://www.jimmybrown.com/hazypic.jpg The picture colors aren't as bright and colorful as they should be and appear to be hazy even though it wasn't hazy outside when I took them. I have been using the camera on AUTO settings. Any suggestions? Is it my camera? Me? The settings? All of the above?! :-) Thanks for your feedback! Jimmy |

The camera is overexposing and what you're seeing is more commonly referred to as "bloom".
Check to make sure you havent accidentally set the exposure compensation to a +1 or +2 level.
