High ISO question

My advice would be to go with the camera that can be cleaner at high ISO. In your case the T1i should be cleaner at high ISO even thought it has more mega pixels. You may not think you need it now but if you want to shoot anything indoor without a flash you will wish you had it. The T1i and my Canon 40D should be roughly equal in their high ISO capability so you are probably looking at ISO 1600 being usable. If you only need web size you can use ISO 3200. Each time I shoot an indoor event I wish I had a camera better at high ISO.
