I have a picture in mind that I'd like to try (may not turn out the way I envision, but want to try it anyway). However, I'm concerned that I may not be able to adjust my camera enough to make the shot work:
Shot: Going to strap my camera (on a gorilla-pod) to a car-seat headrest aimed out the front windshield. I'd like to do a shot where the front of the car & road will be in focus, and blur the sides. Ideally I'd like to do this during the day. Technically you would set this up with a higher ISO (thinking around 400), high aperture so you can slow down the shutter speed. But during the day, I'm not sure I can raise the aperture enough to reduce the shutter speed to where I'd probably need it (I'm guesstimating around 1 sec). Thoughts or suggestions? Many thanks!

Use a neutral density (ND) filter.
