Christmas Balls

Hi everyone

What is the best way to photography shiny christmas balls? I am having trouble with lighting it correctly and my reflection keeps appearing.

use a long lens and zoom in so you get the christmas balls large enough but your reflection will be small. you can also string up large sheets out of camera range to give controlled highlits but be careful of placements of sheets for the balls act like fisheye lenses and can see everything around it.
