Re-colour

Has anyone any experience with re-colouring old black and white photos,
My parents have asked me if I can re-colour one of the old wedding photos.

re-color all, or just add color like sepia style ?

re-color all will be very had, basically you will have to make layers for each color

Add a new layer over the current one, mask off sections and colour. Subtlety is your friend in this case.

i've had experience in restoring old photographs and coloring them. you can see one in the post processing and printing forum, in the thread - a before awaiting an after. i can help you with this, if you like.

I have dowloaded 'Recolored' for a trial to see how it goes.
I might try 'Akvis coloriage' if i can get a trial also.
