Default Can someone please tell me why?

I've noticed that all of the indoor photos I took turned out to be the funny colors that don't match the original color at all.
I've attached one photo so that you can see what I'm talking about. The light in the restaurant is kinda dark and it looks a little red to me. Here is the information about my camera and the photo.

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T1i
Settings:
Shutter Speed: 1/5
AV=8.0
ISO=1600
Flash =off

I don't know why I sometimes couldn't change the F-stop, it will set at 5.6.

Now, I have some questions for you too. What is exposure bias?

Thanks for your help.
I'm kinda frustrated after I tried so many but not one came out right.

As far as the red colour goes - What white balance setting are you using?
This may help.

Re the aperture.
What Lens are you using?
What shooting mode are you using?

By exposure bias do you mean exposure compensation?
If then this may help.

The WB I used was Fluorescent Lamps. The lens I used was EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens.
I used the AV shooting mode. I don't even know if that is correct.

Thank you for your help, the links are very helpful.

I checked your EXIF using Opanda IExif and actually you were shooting in shutter priority mode - that's why you couldn't change your aperture.

Exif is basically all of your camera settings and information embedded into your photo. Opanda is a program that she was using to see that info.

Did you get your colors worked out?

It's a plug-in for Mozilla Firefox. I was able to right-click on your image and it showed the complete EXIF. Hope that clears it up for you.
