Default lens question?
Forgive me if I did this in the wrong area. I have a Nikon D5000, and I have a guy whos has a Sigma dl macro super 70-300mm for sale, $60. It seems to work on my DSLR. All the info I can find says its dedicated for af SLR's. I know its not the greatest lens, but should I get ok results with it being its made for a 35mm camera?

thanks. Seems that it may be an OK lens. I get to take it home today and play with it for a few days, so I will see what it can do
