Default Copy and past EXIF text

I notice in the critique section of the forum people post the shot settings from a photo and they appear to be copy and pasted in text from an editing program. In lightroom 2 I can view that info on the EXIF data section on the side in the library module but cant find a way to copy and paste the text from it. Anyone know how to do this in lightroom2? Thanks.

I asked this very question some time back, sadly there is no way to copy and paste the exif straight from Lightroom. I upload my photos to Flickr to post them here, then find 'more properties' in Flickr and copy and paste the exif from there.

Hope this helps.

You can get a plugin for Lightroom by Timothy Armes called LRTransporter which will allow you to create a text file when you export an image with the EXIF/IPTC metadata you want. To get this layout of data:
Code:
Camera: NIKON D80
Lens: 18.0-135.0 mm f/3.5-5.6
Focal Length:	75 mm
Shutter Speed:	1/13
Aperture:	f/8
ISO: ISO 100
Exposure Comp:	0 EV
Exposure Prog:	Aperture priority
You would configure with:
Code:
Camera:{tab}{tab}{cameraModel}{return}Lens:{tab}{tab}{lens}{return}Focal Length:{tab}{focalLength}{return}Shutter Speed:{tab}{shutterSpeed}{return}Aperture:{tab}{aperture}{return}ISO:{tab}{tab}{isoSpeedRating}{return}Exposure Comp:{tab}{exposureBias}{return}Exposure Prog:{tab}{exposureProgram}{return}

LRTransporter_Conf

Hope this helps.

Cool. I think Ill def get the LR plug-in. I noticed that when I had been exporting jpegs to flickr it listed the exif info. When I uploaded a RAW file (converted to JPG as part of LR process to flickr upload) I couldn't see the exif info.

Thanks all.
