Default Camera Bag Recommendations?

Hi,

I was wondering what everyone recommends for a camera bag because I currently have the Crumpler 4 million Dollar Home and it wont be big enough to house 3 lenses and a body. Thank you everyone.

Are you looking for
(1) shoulder bag?
(2) Small backpack.
(3) Waistpack?.
(4) Bet/harness system?

Personally I like Think Tank products although I do have a Domke shoulder bag.

I use exclusively Lowepro. Im using a Rezo180AW for general use (shoulder bag) and have a smaller 160 for lighting and accessories (also a shoulder bag). My backpack is a Compudaypack, and Im looking at both their Street and Field system as well as a Computrekker plus AW.

I am looking for a small backpack or a shoulder pack. Sorry, forgot to say that earlier.

I recently replaced my Crumpler 5 Million with a Tenba Messenger Bag (large). I liked the way it looked and it fits what I use on a regular basis, which was my criteria for replacing it. So what I keep in it is:
D90 with grip
Sigma 10-20mm
Nikon 50mm
Sigma 105mm
(SB600 - Sometimes)

What, exactly, are you looking to carry?

Keep in mind shoulder bags can become very uncomfortable when they are loaded up with a lot of gear .

The two main shoulder bags I use are
(1) Domke F-4AF - A great working bag.
(2) Think Tank Urban Disguise 40 for those times I need to look the part.

For back pack it is either.

(3) Think Tank Glass Taxi which can be customised with the addition of a belt and relevant pouches to carry water bottles or extra gear
(4) Lowepro Fastpack 250 - Very easy to access your camera and also carry a bit of personal stuff as well.

I've got the Thinktank backpack. Love it. They come in all sizes so I'm sure you will find the one that fits your needs.

I've started using a Kata 3N1-30 camera bag and love it. You can configure the bag as a sling , back pack or a cross over. This is the large one, and I can carry a Canon 50d with lens on (300mm), three other lens, and a flash in the camera compartment. There is easy access from the side to the camera area. Couple of small side pouches for batters and such. And a top compartment for other incidentals. I used to carry a shoulder bag, but if I was doing any long walks it was uncomfortable. The Kata bag has been perfect.

For a shoulder/sling bag I like the Tamrac Velocity Series. I have a Velocity 7 and Velocity 9. The 7 is a little small for a body w/ grip or longer lens (i.e. 80-200mm f/2.8).
