Canon or Epson?

I am interested in printing my own images instead of sending off to be printed elsewhere. I want to control the look and feel of my images from capture to print. I have a solid workflow in place, but I am missing a decent printer to complete my vision. I have heard a lot about the Canon PIXMA Pro9500 (Pro 9500) Mark II, and the Epson Stylus R1900, they both print vivid, and detailed pictures from what I have read. I know that the Canon is more professional oriented than the Epson, but I like the epson price tag. I have found two great deals here eBay, and here eBay Any thoughts? any suggestions?, Anyone own one of the two to give a personal opinion based with facts to add to my thought process? Thanks

If you are going for professional prints like you would get from a lab you are going to need to go with these: Dye Sublimation Printers
NOT a InkJet printer...............

Thank you so much WVCoalMiner!!!! Those type of printers are way out of my price range, but I will consider looking for more choices. I just want want gallery quality prints for my clients, and from what I have read, both Canon PIXMA Pro9500 (Pro 9500) Mark II, and the Epson Stylus R1900, can produce those type of prints.

OK I see so you're not wanting to actually print out the portraits.
