Default Bulk Picture Scanning Services

Hi everyone,

Hope you're enjoying the holiday season!

On a slightly different topic - I'm hoping someone can make a recommendation for bulk scanning services here in the US. I'm looking to take a bunch of old family photos and digitize them. These photos date back mostly from 70s & 80s. I know Ritz does it, and a few other places.

Just looking for reasonable quality (doesn't have to be top shelf), and given the volume - cost is a consideration as well. Anyone try one of these services, by chance?

Thanks in advance!

Most services are expensive: places in town here are charging $2/slide. Depending on the volume, you may be better off getting a Nikon Coolscan slide and film scanner and doing it yourself, then re-selling the scanner
