Are you going to design your own circuit for the LEDs or are you looking for a completely finished product?
LEDs are dirt cheep SUPER BRIGHT LEDS home Sells nice LEDs that may be worth a look depending on what you want to do.

I cant really be bothered building my own circuit to be honest, too much hassle
The little beamer micro lights on that site would be ideal but they dont deliver to the UK unless the order is more than $25, cant find any equivalent for UK

Building a Circuit for these LEDs isn't actually hard at all, it would also open up a lot of possibility's for LED arrangement which is key when painting with LEDs, I assume that's what you want to do with these?
You can mount the LEDs on a long bread board or create your own board so each LED is evenly spaced. When moving this light source across the film plane you will end up with perfectly horizontal lines.
