Default Old ebay flash triggers, compatibility

Hi, i'm thinking of getting a second flash to be used off camera. i am currently fireing my flash using a cheap wireless ebay lash trigger, a 4 channel one. But if i want to add another and fire it at the same time, will i need the exact same model for will any extra receiver work?

Thanks in advance,

Isaac : )

Chances are good, you need the same model receiver you already have. I.e., if you have a Cactus V2 transmitter, it won't work with a Cactus V4 receiver. Unless the manufacturer explicitly states that the systems work together (e.g., RadioPopper PX and JrX units), the safe bet is that they don't.
