Default Recovering Data from a Corrupted Card

I recently had one of my SD corrupted by one of those autoprint machines in a chemist now every time I put it in my camera the camera fails to recognise there is a Card in there.

My computer offers to format it.

Is there a piece of software I can use to try and recover some images from my card? I'd backed up most of my images to Flickr but there are a few that I'd taken that day that I'd like to get out.

You can try SanDisk Rescue Pro (deluxe I think). The demo version may be adequate depending on how large your card is and how much pictures there are. I used it to recover photos but it was on my SD card which I accidentally reformatted. I would assume it would work for your case but I may be wrong.

Oh yeah, the card doesn't need to be SanDisk for it to work.
