I do a lot of traveling and like to carry along a body, couple of lens and flash and of course the few odds and ends.
I'm looking for that one bag that I can carry-on, with the gear in half the bag and plenty of room in the other half for other personal stuff. I NEVER check my camera gear so it has to fit in the carry-on. I'm carrying the TAMRAC 3385 right now which is OK for the gear side but leaves a lot to be desired in the upper half for my "other stuff"... is there a perfectly rectangular bag out there, that fits in an overhead and is divided into two compartments? All comments are wlcome! BTW, this is my first post, so if this is in the wrong place or I'm asking a question when I shouldn't please forgive me and direct me to the correct location. I think the problem here is that any bag that cna do both is going to be outside carry-on range. Airlines usually allow 1 bag plus 1 personal bag as carry-on, and some even allow a camera bag as extra! There's no need for much mroe than that.
I know when I travel I use a backpack as my carry-on and use my camera bag as a second bag.
