I checked out Penn Camera in Laurel, the guy introduced me to the TAMRON AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC (Vibration Compensation) LD Aspherical (IF) Macro lens that's pretty much all in one lens including macro capabilities and cheaper than the Nikkor 70-300mm. It'll be great use for traveling, save time for changing lens, great ranges from all around. He said between the TAMRON and NIKON this lens it pretty equal in it's class, any other lens he'd recommend NIKON but when it came down to the ranges, a lot of the past customers prefer getting the TAMRON over NIKON to save space&money along with sleek, sharp, and fast performance all around.

He also said the lens was awarded from Digital Photo Editor's Choice and Editors Choice PC Photo. I really like the fact that this guy wasn't trying to push me and forcing me to get the Nikkor lens like the girl at Ritz selling the most expensive product. It wasn't about the money from him, it was more technical, reliability, and comfort instead. He wanted to make sure you make a good choice WITH options instead of making a good choice WITHOUT options on lenses. He say the 70-300 Nikkor is a good lens but if you're wanting to get those ranges, your best would be getting the 18-270mm, but it's my choice.
