i have a black berry curve and use it quite abit on my 3 year old as i dont always have a camera in my hand when whe is doing her thing and i want to snap a picture. It also records pretty well. I use it alot when i go to concerts and what not. My husband also has an LG it is a full touch screen..it is kinda of goofy to figure out how to work but it does work good. But i am very satisfied with my blackberry!

I have a LG Envy Touch from Verizon (3.2 mpx) and I think I get pretty decent pictures from it:

Definitely check out SonyEricsson's lineup of phones. I don't recall what model I had (It met an untimely death in the washer), but the pictures were of very good quality, better than many P&S cameras.

It seems that where the camera feature is an afterthought for most cellphone manufacturers (i.e.:if we have to put a camera in our phone let's just ship with the cheapest camera), SE seems to put a lot of forethought and integration of the camera into their phones.

I have to tell you all how much I truly dislike cameras in phones! In my opinion, no serious photographer would have or use one. They would be good for detective work.....nothing else. I have not read all the comments here but I can tell you that if I hear one more person "on the street" tell me they are so handy, I will have a seizure! Lame reason in my opinion.
It is purely a manufacturer/market ploy to sell more phones! Boy, this ought to get some strong feedback. :0)

I work in the mobile phone industry and must say Im uber impressed by the nokia n96, 5mp camera but it really produces some great shots. as far as ease of use and fun nothing can beat the iphone, I wish there was something to beat it but there really isnt which is frustrating because I get tired of selling iphones all day.
