I find it much safer to carry my camera in my hand rather than in a bag or backback which is likely to be dropped or banged. I guess its a personal thing. BTW your images are just little white boxes with red "X"s in them.

I use a bag but generally just for carting stuff around while my camera is in-hand. My backpack(s) are for transporting to a location and my shoulder bag is for on-the-town excursions.

The kinds of days I shoot are when I'm walking around all day long, usually an extended urban adventure or hiking. In which case, a backpack is ideal. I can't deal with a camera hanging off my neck when I'm clambering through creeks, around restaurants, or in crowded areas.

the images are reloaded and should be vissible now, on location i have the most used camera around the neck, in the hand is to risky imho but if you feel good with it why not , but do not complain when someone on a scooter races by and takes the camera out of your hands and it is gone ..
