Canon 55-250mm IS Lens.

Hi, i am using the standard 18-55mm IS lens which came with my 450D and i find it ok for most things i like to snap but as i live on a farm there is quite a bit of wildlife...foxes, badgers, hares and buzzards etc., and i am considering purchasing a telephoto and would like some opinions on Canon's 55-250mm IS. Hi, David.

I have this lens, and I can say that, for the price, it is a good lens. It's definitely not the highest quality glass you can purchase, but it is a great consumer lens. I haven't had too many complaints other than the IS motor being a little on the noisy side.
