Smile Canon 50mm f/1.8 Hood + Adapter + Step-Up Ring?

Hello.

I have the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 MKI and a step-up ring (52mm->58mm) to use my CPL filter.

I'm looking for a hood for when I'm using a soft filter and I came across the ES-62 + Adaptor ES-62L. This way I would be able to make it fit backwards (which I want to).

However, what happens with my step-up ring? Can I still attach the adapter, then the step-up ring with my filter or will the hood prevent me from doing so?

This picture seems to permit any number of filters since nothing is in the way:

But for this one, I'm not sure where the adapter/hood start/ends...

Anybody knows a good place to get this ES-62 hood + adapter for cheap? (I'm in Québec, Canada)

Thanks!

I saw on the "Canon EOS EF Series Lens & Hood Compatibility Chart", that the 50mm MK1 can use the ES-65, ES-65 II and ES-65 III.

How is this different from ES-62 + adapter?

Thanks for your comment. I also buy alot of stuff on eBay, but I was wondering if any of you guys now other online stores with competitive prices?

I know it's sometime hard to beat eBay especially with local taxes, but I once found a store where I could buy the Apple AirPort Extreme for 40$ less than the lowest BIN on eBay. Sometimes it's worth it looking somewhere else.
