I've got a LowePro Micro Trecker 100. It holds all my stuff nicely
  • Nikon D80
  • 18-200 lens
  • 18-200 lens hood
  • batter charger
  • all my cables
Soon to own, and will fit...
  • 50mm lens
  • SB-600
It's a great little backpack, and LowePro has lifetime warranty It's really small, but is designed to hold a camera and 2-3 lenses, which is just perfect for me!

Have you got one yet matt?

I finally chose the option of getting a smaller camera bag that I can just put inside a bigger bag. I bought a Tamrac Pro Digital Zoom 9. Thanks for the suggestions.

I bought another camera bag yesterday. It's a black Crumpler Keystone backpack. It opens on the strap side for theft protection.

Gotta love a crumpler... I have a small one for those "just taking my 30D and keys" moments, and my Large one for that "whoa, I need everything" day...

I have a New LowePro MicroTrekker 100 (Black) on eBay at the minute if anyone in UK needs one.. pm me if you're in need...

I carry all my gear in a Lowepro Micro Trekker 200. It's easily configurable for whatever lens I have on the body and has enough room left for another lens or 2 plus a flash. There's plenty of room for accessories as well. I have 3 memory cards and my remote in the smaller inside pockets and my microfiber cloth in the larger pocket. The large outside pocket has the cables and charger, extra lens caps, a small tablet and a pen. In the small pocket on the flap I keep a compass. It's comfortable to wear for hours. It does have tripod straps but I don't use them since my tripod has it's own bag. The only drawback about backpacks is you have to take them off to get to your gear, but it's not a big deal to me. I have pictures of the bag and my gear HERE

I'm awaiting delivery of a lowepro slingshot 200 and I can't wait... for the moment my camera is in a lowepro TLZ2 but it's just not sexy

I want instant access - I'm impatient. I'm hoping that the slingshot will give me this. I'm often out with my 4 year old and have the other bag slung over my neck and shoulder kinda schoolbag style... it's not that convenient. I did try having my camera slung over my shoulder but as I nearly clunked my son on the head when bending down to tend to him I thought it probably wasn't a good idea.

So... I'm looking forward to the slingshot and will let you know what I think when it finally arrives. Ordered from Amazon about a month ago... despatched at the end of last week... price was pretty reasonable though.

Doing a lot of traveling...both in planes and cars. I just bought a Pelican 1510 Case. It is a hard case that has a telescoping handle and wheels for easy travel. The other plus is that it is just the perfect size for a airline carry-on. It is deep enough for my camera, lenses, filters, batteries, CF cards, and wires. I will also put my laptop in it as well (17 inch HP). All told it weights no more than 25 pound full loaded...but feels like 10 pounds.

I will pack a small soft case to go walkabout with during the day.
