The Nikon one IS the better one. The VR I is a great option for DX users, but the FX really benefits from the VRII

VR 1 is great for DX than VR 2? Why?

How about Tamron 70-200? or Sigma 70-200. What makes Nikon lens better than these two cheaper ones?

The VR1 isnt the best in the corners, but on DX that doesnt matter because it gets cropped out by the sensor. The VR2 does better on FX because they fixed a lot of the optical issues in the VR1. The VR1 is a "better" fit for DX because it's considerably less expensive than the VR2. Off-brand lenses are good, but its almost impossible to beat the Nikon/Canon offerings.

I've had my VR2 since they came out with it. I haven't resold it once. Beats the pants off the VR1, which wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination.
