Default Tripod advice please

I have a Canon 600D and kit lens 18 - 55, 55 -250 and also 50 mm. I also have a very cheap tripod which was fine when I used a point and shoot, but more and more I am frustrated with it using this camera and lenses, especially when I want to angle the camera .

I've read threads here and elsewhere, and to some degree it makes things more difficult. Unfortunately stores here only stock pretty basic brands so I can't try any of the ones I might want to buy. Currently I'm looking at these two on a local trading site (hope it's ok) and hoping someone might be able to advise if they are suitable for me. I am 5' 4 '', and shoot mainly landscape and flowers, and am hopeless at handheld with DSLR.

Thanks for any advice.

I own a Manfrotto 190. (not the ProB) and it is a good tripod.

The ProB models are a lot more versatile because of the tilting centre column.
It gives you a lot more flexibility in tripod camera placement to your subject.

Thanks for your reply - I was thinking the ProB offered a little more ( beyond me at present) and already I've had issues with camera/subject placement - so will see how the auction goes. Either would be suitable for me though I think. Thank you so much.

Definitely opt for the PROB model.
