I found an Nikon N90s with a Nikon AF NIKKOR 28-200mm lens attached to it, and being a Canon user and close up photographer I don't have have much use for it. So I would like to sell it, but before I do that I would like to know if these old (film?)lens would work with the newer Nikon D cameras.
~Thanks

Yeah, it'll work. Depending on which version it is, you may lose AF with cheaper bodies.

Yeah, not being a Nikon guy I don't know all the specifics on the various models, but IIRC the bodies that don't have a focus motor require AF-S lenses in order to autofocus.

28-200 AF-D? Works fine. Won't autofocus on low-end bodies, but manual focus has no problems. (Nikon hasn't changed its basic lens mount in decades.)
