Would all you pros use a Sigma lens on your Canon, or do you just use Canon lenes? Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks!

I use a Sigma fisheye. It works great. Just be aware that future compatibility may not be as nice as Canon EOS lenses. If that's worth the lower price to you then go for it.
Canon can take lenses from Sigma, Tokina, Tamron, Zeiss, Cosina Voigtlander, Rokinon/Samynag, etc. etc. that are designed to be for the Canon EOS mount. Just be aware that when you purchase a third-party lens, that those lensmakers often create lenses in multiple mounts, and that across mount systems, the lens may NOT be optically identical. So, reading reviews on the Nikon version of a Sigma lens may not exactly represent what the Canon version of that lens will be. Each manufacturer's website tells you the range of lenses they make. I´m really happy with my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens for my Canon 450d. Sigma does make a few stinkers so its best to research any lens purchase and if possible rent or try before buying.
