Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8G lens

I am thing of buying this lens within the next week. I want to take better pictures of my Grandson and my new Granddaughter who will be arriving in Feb. I would love to see sample photos taken with this lens in daytime, night, bright light and low light.

Would you take the time and add photos you have taken without the use of a flash or studio lights inside and outdoors.

If this not the right spot please let me know where to post this.

I would like to see photos with this lens (Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8G) and this lens (Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8G) only. I am trying to make it clear what I am looking for because most threads start one way and then seem to wander to different lens and lights etc.

I own a D7000 - I recently purchased a 50mm 1.8/f AF-S - No regrets! This lens, I will always keep, because it's really wonderful indoors. Here's a example I took, under low light - it was around 11:30PM at night - Meet my parents' dog, Hank, a 3 year old Beagle/Boston Terrier mix:
