Default Utility Belt?!

I recently had a 3 day convention event I had to cover and it was annoying having to carry my bookbag around for long, long hours... sweating and weight. Is there any Utility Belt in the market? I'm about to get a black rapid RS-7 and looked into any add-ons and for 1 single pocket add-on small or large is $20-$22... That's a bit over priced for a single pocket. I was thinking a whole Utility Belt for $20-$30 that have maybe 10-15 pockets where I can put in camera batteries, AA/AAA batteries, SD cards, maybe a flash holder? And lots of other stuff.. I hate to stuffing my pockets of my pants and wearing a sweater to get bigger pockets available to me when its like 99 degrees in the convention with thousands of other people and as well heat cranked up... I know this may sound like a rant but I hated how I felt when I do this convention, I want to improve it with a Utility Belt, if not I may just may look into making one myself for next year's convention....

Think Tank and Lowepro make systems like that (modular) however the Think belts alone are ~$US40 without any attachments.

Maybe something like this may meet some of your needs.

Or maybe something along the lines of a tactical vest?

Amazon.com: Soft Air Swiss Arms Tactical Airsoft Vest: Sports & Outdoors

I have the lowepro S&F system, belt $45, harness $45 and average about $25.00 a pouch, so it is way out of the budget.

looks like its in a good price range too for that vest and wouldn't be too hot if I left it opened too.
