Default Yongnuo YN-467 vs. YN-565

Simply put... which is better you guys think?

Amazon.com: Yongnuo YN-467 Flash Speedlite Dedicated E-TTL for Canon DSLR Cameras: Electronics

http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-YN-565...1700245&sr=1-4

I'm interested into adding an E-TTL speedlight... the above speedlights are about $100 difference...

you enter into the $200 range and i think the Nissin is the choice. I didn't think much of 3rd party ettl flash until I ran into two pros both using them and swearing by them...

if its under $100, would you recommend the YN476 for the purpose of the ETLL features?

I have YN465 and work perfectly. it only work unpredictable when the battery is low. You can adjust the zoom by using diy zoom scope. YN465 is more powerful than 467. why not wait for 468 Mark II that may support Nikon? Of course YN565 is better than YN467. Nissin di622 mark II is the most popular speedlight in my country, very powerful and cheap. For off-camera flash, i will never consider those ttl speedlights as i will not buy ttl wireless triggers. I will wait for 560 mark 2 which is very similar to the Canon top speedlight (around USD70)

** 467is for nikon, 468 is for canon. 468 mark II is coming. If i am you, i will buy 3 X 468 II if i have ttl wireless trigger, instead of 1 X 565. If i use it as on-camera flash, i will consider nissin di622 which is cheaper than 565

does YN602s work as TTL wireless triggers? Need one before December 2nd for on-location/outdoors shooting (all day), I have the 560 right now but manual will slow me down too much and I'm scheduled to shoot about 4 models around Philly doing 1-2 hour shoots one on one with each model so efficiency is very important.

As for YN565 vs. Nissin Di622 Mark II, whats the obvious differences?

Speedlights.net can probably answer most of your questions for you with a simple spec comparison.

YN-465 vs. YN-467 467 has an optical slave, zooming capability, and FEC
565 vs. Di-622: high-speed sync capability.
565 vs. Di-866: high-speed sync, master capability, higher power output.

RF-602s are manual-only triggers. No TTL capability at all: no eTTL, no remote comanding, no high-speed sync, no rear-curtain sync, etc. etc.

I use RF-602s and they're terrific, but have been superseded by the RF-603s, and many would say Cactus V5s are actually the better buy right now.

The advantages the RF-603s and V5s have over the RF-602s are: transceiver units, instead of separate Tx/Rx, all units use AAAs, not AAA and funky CR2 or whatever. Standard mono sync connectors, instead of proprietary sync cable connection (RF-602s use a funky Olympus type connector; 603 and V5s use mono plugs: 2.5mm and 3mm, respectively). The V5s have additional advantages over the 603s: locking ring on the foot, and channel selection is done by a dial, rather than dip switches underneath the battery cover. And you can reach the on/off switch on a V5 while the flash is mounted on one--the RF-602s/603s, not so much.
