Okay so I'm looking for a good inexpensive flash! I want to be able to bounce the light off the ceiling and walls and possibly even be able to use it as an off camera flash. I've been searching the forum trying to make sense of all the technical terms, but it's proving more difficult than I originally thought!
From the research I've done I think I have boiled it down to these 2 flash, but please tell me if you have something better!!! Nissin Di622 Mark II Digital TTL Shoe Mount Flash for Nikon Amazon.com: Nissin ND622MKII-C Speedlite Di 622 Mark II Flash System for Canon (Black): Camera & Photo Nikon - SB-700 AF Speedlight External Flash Amazon.com: Nikon SB-700 AF Speedlight Flash for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras: Camera & Photo So what are these capable of! Of course I'd much rather have the Nissin cause it's WAY cheaper! But what are the differences. I mean I'm sure the Nikon one is better built, but for someone who has never used an external flash would I even notice the difference??? Anyways, any extra information on this topic would be wonderful! |

I agree with Mindy. I have two friends with these guns and whilst the Nissin gun is very good and excellent value, it does require more knowledge than the Nikon one, which will work beautifully, even if you don't know what you are doing.....
