Hey everybody
,Stumbled across a thread earlier mentioning a DOF Calculator app for the iphone, and it got me wondering what other iPhone apps are out there to make things easier for us Photographers. I then found this site which lists what looks like a few useful apps that I wanted to share with people . Keep in mind that I haven't tested any of them out yet, but a couple of them do seem to be useful. The best iPhone apps for professional photographers | Fitzgerald Photo What iPhone apps do you use for photography? Or what ones have you come across that looked interesting but you never tried it out for one reason or another? David

My most used apps are:
DSLR Camera Remote - onOne Software which is by far my fav remote because it works with live view. The Photographer's Ephemeris | Plan your shoot which works a lot like Light Trac, but looks prettier. ![]() and trails - Intuitive GPS tracking on the iPhone which I use to track where I'm shooting and I can sync the gpx track up with my photos in Lightroom later using this plug in: Jeffrey Friedl's Blog Jeffrey’s “GPS-Support” Geoencoding Plugin for Lightroom

Hey Nicole
Thanks for the post ![]() I seen the DSLR remote app and was very tempted to download it. But then I realized that I never do any shooting like that, and it'd be more for playing around with than anything else lol. Now if it works with that camera connector kit for the iPhone/iPad that I've read about, without needing the computer, then I'd definitely be interested in getting it to replace my wired shutter release .I'll have to check out the others you mentioned too ![]() David

For me: Instagram, Light Meter, Sunrise & Sunset and Compass. Also, myLite, but that has less to do with photography and more to do with finding things in the dark.
