Default Help -- Birthday Present for my Daughter

I know nothing of photography but I am looking to surprise my daughter with some equipment for her Birthday for her camera. This site provided me with some great ideas I think.

I was looking at the following items. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful.

Reflector
Translucent Dome Diffuser
Lowepro -- Passport Sling Shoulder Bag
Should I get her a Tripod or a Monopod to start with?

Thanks!
Leslie

What does she have, and what does she like to shoot?

I am a noob, just started learning photography. I think
a) if she does not have speedlight, then buy one. Cheap one will do (e.g. YN465 USD60), but YN468 II is better if you afford ;D
b) If she has 2 speedlights, then a cheap studio set (2 lightstand, 1 softbox, 1 umbrella, umbrella holder) and wireless trigger ( 1 transmitter + 2 receivers). The cheap one may costs you around USD99.
c) If she has a and b, then if she does not have a low-light len, then 35mm f/1.8 or 50mm f/1.8 will do. What camera does she have? the cheapest one should be around USD70
d) Plastic model / women/man . this is for her to practice lighting...
a, b, and C will be useful if she interested in portrait / people ...

tripod wil be useful if she more to landscape photography, i think, but useful for portrait too. Usually if she shoot alone, reflector is hard to use unless she has reflector holder with lightstand.

If she more to small object photography, i think ring flash will do (around USD 50).

How old is she? if she is less than 7 old year, buy something that is more durable..hard to break... ;D
It is important to know what camera she has.. for equipment compatibility
I am just a noob.. so.. lets others tell their opinions.. Perhaps you can tell us your budget..
