I bought one last month from Amazon for my 7D, super bit of kit. The only thing it is missing is an on/off switch, but you just pop the batteries out when not in use.

I was looking into the "Canon TC80N3 Timer Remote Control"
The NEEWER Digital Timer Remote (EZA-C3) for Canon received poor reviews

Well I've found mine to work perfectly so I'm very happy with it. I could have got the same functions with (probably) better build quality and an on/off switch by buying the Canon version. But, when looking at the prices, I decided £15 beats £120 any day of the week.
Maybe I'm just a scrooge, but I'm a happy scrooge.

It's your money.

I've only gotten the RC-6 wireless remote and used it for some moon shots. Very simple, but handy and does what I need it to. Fairly inexpensive too, so there's that.
