Angry Camera Battery for D5100

I bought D5100 on 23 June 2011. I can take more than 1000 photos initially, but now, I can only take up to 200 photos. What i can do?

Do you use one of those turbo chargers? If you do, that's the culprit. Rechargeable batteries shorten their life span if you use fast charging chargers. It is best to use slow chargers to maintain the life out of your batteries. Also, leaving your batteries longer after it's fully charged will overheat them and shorten their lifespan, too.

So as an added note to your Sanyo battery charger, ditch if when you can afford to get the Maha c900. That Sanyo charger will kill your rechargeables quicker than anything. THere is a reason why the maha chargers are a lot more expensive. You get a lot, LOT more life out of your batteries with slow charging them. And if you need to discharge or refresh, you can do it with the maha c900. But not with that Sanyo.

Now you're just being silly. If you knew this fact, then I don't understand why you even opened this thread and asked the question.

My question is, why do you have a relatively new camera, and a 3rd party charger?
Camera outfits generally come with the correct charger.

Just go on ebay and buy a kit charger. While you're at it, buy a couple third parrty batteries on ebay, and voila, you're good.
