I’ve been looking to get a new computer monitor, my current one is on its way out. I was hoping to get some feedback. I currently have an old Gateway 24” TN monitor. I also have a calibrator for it.
I’m looking at the 24” NEC PA241W-BK with the Spectra View calibrator, or the 30” Dell UltraSharp U3011. I was wondering if anyone here has either of these monitors, and might be willing to shed some light on making the switch. Would going to the bigger Dell get me more bang for the buck, or are the controls and hardware calibration on the NEC worth more? I’m not a professional photographer. I do figure that with all the time I spend in front of the computer, I might as well get a good new monitor. Thanks for the help. Thanks Miles. |
