Default Outgrowing my camera gab

Hey guys,

I just purchased a speed light, which ended up kicking one of my lenses out of my camera bag. I currently have the Tamrac 3375 quick access backpack and am looking for something that can hold all of my gear as I grow it over the next couple of years.

One consideration is that I have a $100 gift card for Crutchfield. They do not have a huge selection but they have a few bags, so what are your thoughts?

My Equipment
  • Canon Rebel T1i
    -
  • Canon 50mm f/1.8 - 52mm opening
  • Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8-4.0 - 58mm opening
  • Canon 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 - 58mm opening
  • Tamron 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 - 62mm opening
  • Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS - 58mm opening
  • 0.42x Fisheye Lens w/Macro
    -
  • Speed Light - Mecablitz 44 AF-1 digital

Default Kata

The bag you have now looks to be nice. If I were you, I would maybe have a place to put all of your gear, or just keep the stuff you use most often in your bag, then you can change it out accordingly. If you really want a bigger bag, I would take a look at Kata. I have the R-101, you would probably be needing a bigger bag but they're really nice maybe a R-103 or a different style but I would head over to they're website and check them out. With they're EPH system, as your collection gets bigger, you can add more bags too.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Sell the Tamron 70-300 and Canon 18-55 and the wide-angle adapter.

You'll be losing out on the 18-28 range: replace it with an ultra-wide of some sort (10-20, 10-24, etc).

You now GAIN a slot.

Have to sorta kinda agree with this but I would get rid of the canon 55-250 instead of the tamron 70-300.

Have you looked at the lowepro flipside 300 or 400?

I've got the 300 and it works fine but I need a bigger bag. I just like the fact that the backpack has to be off your back for you to open it so no one can unzip it while it's on my back and try to steal something.

I can carry a 70-200 on the body, a 24-70, 11-18 and I'd have room for a 50mm and flash. There's also room for miscellaneous other things too but I'm just talking about lens and a flash right now.
