A polarizing filter is one of the better ways to cut through haze and deepen the blue in the sky. Also shooting during the golden hours (two hours after sunrise and two before sunset) of the day will help this issue when shooting landscapes.

A CPL helps with blue haze a little round mountains.. From what I can see, Jasper is no different to most mountains, and the haze is something you have to live with.. Personally I use it.. In the evening it turns a pinky purple and makes everything incredible..
The blue haze also adds depth to your pictures, making the closer objects less blue means your pictures look less flat.. Don't fight it, work with it. [IMG] [/IMG]
