Hi there, I have an opportunity to purchase a Sunpak MS-4000 Pro-System, with umbrella and tripod, but am unsure if it is compatible with my Canon T1i.
Am I right to understand a flash that was originally for a film camera won't work in a digital camera, or can someone confirm for me that it will work?? Thanks for any information that may be provided, Brent |

It will work with any camera, Including digital.
It is a "studio strobe"and what camera you use is fairly irrelevant. You'll need a sync cable or trigger it optically. It will have to be set/adjusted manually.

Yes and no...
You'll be in "manual flash" which has it's learning curve, but it's a more than adequate strobe for most home studio applications. Manual strobe work is more "common/the norm" than TTL/CLS use is and it's generally cheaper, so it's not a bad thing to learn, and it's not that hard. BTW, I'm not an expert on that particular studio strobe, or any for that matter.
