So I was shooting product photography today for 4 hours, I reviewed the images after I shot them and showed them to my boss, I left the field and returned to the office to check out the images on my computer, I inserted the CF card into my reader and it opened just fine, however once I was in the folder NONE of the images I took this morning were there?? I'm baffled, there were other images that were taken yesterday and previous days, but not a single image from today, I didn't get an error message on the camera, it didn't tell me to insert the CF card, I even looked back at the images and saw them, the camera does not have an onboard memory so they are not there, when I put the card in the reader there was no error, it didn't tell me there was a problem it just opened as it usually does, but no new images?!?!?
