Just wanted to share with fellow stobists Yongnuo the maker of cheaper 3rd party speedlights for nikon and canon has officially entered the ETLL market with the release of the YN565 ETLL Flash. Check out a written and hand-on video review below.
Yongnuo YN-565EX ETTL Flash – Quick Review CheesyCam After I watched the video I know this will be my next speedlight to get once I'm in a need for one, as of right now I do not, nor a ETLL flash unit as I mostly just do portraits and don't have a hardcore need for ETLL yet.

Actually Yongnuo has had eTTL-capable units since the YN-465 was introduced.
The YN-565 is the first wireless eTTL/CLS slave unit, though. And it's particularly cool that the same unit can be used with both Nikon and Canon systems. But it does have drawbacks (most notably the fact that it does NOT do high-speed sync, which is the main reason folks want wireless TTL), that still make the Nissin Di-866 and Metz offerings look like nicer alternatives. Also, the little grace notes are missing. The PC port, for example, is identical to the one on the YN-560: NOT screwlock, but simple friction-fit. While you can forgive this more easily in a $65 all-manual flahs, for a $150-$200 flash, not so much. Also, it's brand-new and an unknown quantity, and Yongnuo is not exactly known for high build quality or copy consistency, particularly with newer offerings. They eventually fixed the bad capacitor and zoom head issues with the YN-560 after a year (I love mine. It's the later metal-foot version). But being an early adopter may not pay with these guys. YMMV. Personally, I'm waiting to see what speedlights.net finds in his review. And you'll note that the review you linked to is saying it looks like there might be issues with the wireless eTTL.
