Best Headphones for multi purpose?

I found these were best rated/reviewed on B&H and decently priced. My limit is $150, but I'm also considering BOSE noise-canceling headphones that is $300 but I need I need a cheaper set right now as my first choice until I know I could afford the BOSE late this year or early next year. So in your opinion which is best based on price and quality. And when I say multi purpose I mean both indoor use and outdoor use where they'll be a lot of surrounding environment noise.

The 7506s are good. I use Sennheiser HD280 and 380s, just preference.

does it completely cover your ears? I hate it when they don't cover the entire ears from environmental noises.

Yeah, all three are full size (circumaural as it were).

They're pretty similar. The 280s are a little bit tighter on your head, and I think the 7506s are a little more bassy.
