Default Canon LC-E6E Charger help!

I've moved from the U.K. to Canada and I've neglected to bring my U.K. detachable cable for my LC-E6E charger for my 7D battery.

I've done some research and I'm looking for a C7/C8 IEC coupler with a North American wall socket plug.

If this is correct, can I go to any electrical store and ask for one? Should I be more careful when choosing cables for the battery of a camera?

Dont Canon chargers (like Nikon ones) for those batteries use the "infinity" cables (the end that goes into the charger looks like a sideways 8)? If so, just grab one of those. Shouldnt be a problem.

the charger is dual voltage: all you need is the NA plug bit.
