Zeikos Extension Tubes Help

Hello everybody,

Having a little bit of an issue here, maybe somebody else with the Zeikos tubes can help me out. For some reason the 31mm extension in the set isn't allowing me to take pictures. The AF works, as well IS, so I know the signals getting passed through the tube, it just won't take the actual picture. The 13 and 21mm work just fine. I've tried different combinations of the tubes, including the 31mm by itself, and nothing seems to get it to work. I did get it to capture 1 shot, but then it stopped working again. Any advice?

Edit: I've managed to get it to capture images while on manual focus, just not auto.. But the other tubes still work with Auto. Any thoughts?

alot of cameras wont fire unless focus lock has been achieved. Since you can fire in manual, this sounds like the culprit. if your camera beeps when it locks make sure you hear it before trying.

I was shooting in lower light than I normally do, so I can see why focus lock may not have been achieved. Especially being that it's the longest extension. I don't know why I didn't think about that. I'll try shooting in a brighter area to see if that was the case. I appreciate the help!
