Hi everybody
I would like to buy my first Macro lens for my Canon T1i, and I'd like some advice on what features to look for or specific brands you'd recommend more than others. It doesn't have to be Canon (would prefer IS though). I'm on a budget of around the 200-$250 range, if possible? Thanks in advance for your input, Frank

Are the Sigma, Tamron and Tokina brands just as good?

the canon EF 100mm f/2.8L is reviewed as the best of the macro lenses in that focal length with the price tag to match. I use a tamron 90mm on a nikon and for value for money its great have been very happy with it, review on a par with the nikon and just under the canon.
