Hello,
i'm pretty new to photography. I've got Canon 50 1.2 and i ve got a few dust p. on the lens , so i need to clean it - but i'm afraid even to touch my glass. So what is the safest way to clean glass? I've heard of some lens PEN which u can use to clean lenses. Please advice and tell how you clan your expensive lenses. Thank you! |

Simple dust cleaning and water spots - a lens cloth
Smudges, fingerprints - lens solvent and lens tissues I recommend use of UV or skylight filters that can be cleaned more frequently and aggressively...they're a lot easier to replace than your lens, and you don't have to worry about destroying the coatings on your lenses.

2 must have as a photographer, Gitzo Rocket (or any other air blower), and Lenspen.
I use the Gitzo rocket to blow off the dust. If there are still some dust left I left the brush on my lenspen to swipe it off then I use the other side of the lenspen to clean smudges. Most of the time I don't need the Gitzo rocket because its kinds big for me to carry around and the lenspen does the job. The lenspen is really cheap, Amazon.com: LensPEN Lens Cleaning System: Camera & Photo
