Exclamation Help!

I use Aperture 2 and the photos that I have taken with my new D7000 are an "unrecognizeable file format" (NEF raw) and I can't import them into Aperture or iPhoto. iPhoto will transfer the "image" but it seems to just be the thumbnail. I never had any problem with importing RAW files from my D60 and can't figure out how to fix this problem. Does anybody know what I need to do?

A I took a couple shots in Jpeg and those of course transfer over just fine to both programs.
I would really like to get the RAW files onto my mac but at the moment I would settle for a way to convert the RAW files to Jpeg on my nikon.

Aperture 3 now supports the D7000. I really doubt that AP 2 ever will. Looks like you need an upgrade or shoot jpeg
