So I'm currently using the Pacsafe Carrysafe 100 and after shooting for a few hours with my bigma, my neck was hurting from the weight. With my camera it's probably around 5 to 6 pounds.
I've been looking around and up to now found three options: Luma Loop BlackRapid RS4 OP/TECH Pro Strap The reason I'm looking at the first two because the weight would be on the shoulder instead of the neck. But I'm not so sure about those two because the camera's position. I get a feeling it would really get in the way of walking. Right now I'm mostly interested in the Pro Strap, since it supposedly does a good job of spreading the weight. Does anyone use any of these with a heavy lens? I'm open to other options as well.

Have you tried using a normal strap on the lens and carrying it on your shoulder? Also, try flipping the camera so the prism is facing your body.

Carry Speed CS-1
works great and i like that it has a threaded screw on the bottom of the mount so no removing the strap mount to hook up to a tripod. I use this with my D90, Battery grip and 70-200 2.8 VR all the time and it works great! Very sturdy! here is a link Carry Speed - Original Offset Design Tripod Ready Sling Strap
