Softbox for speedlite and profoto strobe???

Hi!

I would like to get a medium portable softbox which I can use with my Canon flash and profoto strobe.

I have looked around. I like Photoflex Litedome and Wescott Apollo 28 a lot but the problem is that they only work with camera flashes but not with powerful strobes. At least that's what BH says on its website: "for camera flash only".

Do you know any softbox/octabox on which I can set up my camera flash and a profoto speed ring as well?

The photoflex will work on either. The very smallest Photoflex might not take a speedring but if it will take a speed ring it will work on either your profoto or speedlight. Besides the small speedlight only units, Photoflex makes two types of softboxes; ones that are strobe only and ones that are strobe/continuous lighting. The only difference is the ones for continuous light can stand higher heat and have vents. The photoflex 3' octobox would be great. I think you can buy it as a kit with the bracket & stand for your speedlight. Then you get the cooresponding speedring for the profoto and you can swap it out...
