Saw 9 today on Amazon at the jacked up price of $392. Twice for what it usually sells for.

Thank you for the feedback. I never thought of ebay so I will definitely give it a try. I saw the one on amazon that was selling for a lot more. :/ If I don't find one on ebay I will probably just wait until I can find one in stock. I read where the 35mm is in high demand but the Japan disaster is also another reason why there is a shortage of Nikon and Canon supplies.

Well, the disaster is one thing, but jacking up the prices is chickens&%t on the part of retailers. To gain a couple hundred bucks? Supply and demand is one thing, but a blatant rip off is another. I am happy the vendors here in Ukraine have not done this. In the US we once called it carpetbagging.
