Question Tripod help please

Anyone have experience on Feisol tripod ?
FEISOL USA / North America - Tripods Monopods Ball Heads

This set below is what I'm considering:
-NEW FEISOL Tournament Tripod CT-3442 Rapid
-FEISOL Ball Head CB-50DC Carbon Fiber with Release Plate QP-144750

Do you think this set, the tripod and ball head, will hold my D7000 and Sigma 50-150mm HSMII without problem?

Do you think I should get FEISOL Quick Release Plate QP-1447100 instead of Plate QP-144750?

What is the benefit of having a larger plate?

I actually have around $600-650 for a tripod-complete set and this one seems fit nicely, but I'm not sure about the sturdiness because it's so hard to find an opinion about this tripod brand.

Thank you in advance

The difference in plates is jsut width: if you feel the wider plate would be worth the 3 extra dollars, then by all means.

As for your other selections: Is there any reason you're choosing the CB-50DC over any other? it's $60 more than the 30, and the only difference is that it supports more weight and doesnt come with the QR plate.

Which brings me to the legs: theyre good to 10kg. Theres therefore no reason to choose a ballhead that is good for twice that (which is why I suggested the cheaper legs).

Your camera/lens combo is just under 1.6kg. General rule for tripods: round up and double (round to 2, double to 4kg) for minimum load capacity.

Any particular reason you're going with Feisol too? They've got some neat stuff (that bike mount, in particular) but other than that, nothing particularly groundbreaking that I'd want/need.

Oh well, I have had bad experience about the ball head selection; I had a ball head that could carry 13 lb, yet it once dropped my camera and lens on the floor. That's why I just feel like having a big loaded ball head. I may also have even heavier lenses in the future. Moreover, ball heads from other brands, such as Markins and Really Right Stuff are far more expensive relative to the weight capacity.

I consider this brand because I think it should fit in Lowepro slingshot 202 AW tripod section nicely when folded (only 48cm with its ball head due to reverse-folding legs).

I would glad if you have some suggestion for me
